This is the same Cute Mummy tutorial that I uploaded last August. I had to re-upload it. Just edited a bit more and added new music. Think of it as new and improved 😉 For other Halloween ideas, check out Halloweencostume.com’s blog: www.halloweencostumes.com Follow: twitter.com Song title: The Other Side of the Door Provided by: Kevin MacLeod incompetech.com

PETA has a list of cruelty-free cosmetics that is continuously updated. You can even search by category. For example, one cruelty free nail brand is Wet N Wild Cosmetics. Europe is making changes on their animal testing policy and hopefully the US will follow. It is possible. There’s new technology (DATAchip and METAchip). Consumers have the power.

I copied this from another user’s comment, it was AnimalCookies6 I think!

PinkHolidayful says:

ATTENTION SALLY HANSEN LOVERS: PETA HAS REALEASED PRIVATE TESTING INFORMATION ABOUT THIS COMPANY: S.H. PUTS NAIL POLISH ON EYES OF BUNNY RABBITS BECAUSE THEIR EYES ARE OF THE SAME TEXTURE AS OUR NAILS. IT BURNS THEIR EYES AND THEY FALL OUT OF THEIR HEADS. STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANY MORE OF SALLY HANSEN. LOOK UP SALLY HANSEN ON PETA WEBSITE FOR FULL DETAILS. THUMBS UP FOR ANIMALS, COPY AND PASTE ON ANY VIDEO RELATED TO NAIL POLISH

dying4chocolate says:

Mind me asking which one? I had posted this last year and had to re-upload this year. It was the only mummy video then.

Melihoku10 says:

Funny this looks EXACTLY like another tutorial I watched. Down to the stripes. Nice. =/

greenANDpurple0708 says:

I used a cotton ball, if that helps : ))

ashleyplashleyy1133 says:

i used a cotton ball. I made it a little damp too so it wouldnt stick to my nail.

samslayerr says:

soooo cute!!

4misstish says:

A paper towel works well also. It’s thicker than tissue and does a pretty good job. Just make sure to use different parts of the paper towel so one part doesn’t become to wet and come off on the nail.

AboutAlaska says:

check my latest video i do it in another way (:

mimi1999coocoos says:

u cud use one of shose eyeshadow thingies (not the brush but the spngy thing)

hotdogloco12345 says:

you can also use a cotton bud thats what i do 😛

dying4chocolate says:

Yes but it’s a bit messy. Instead of using a sponge, you can use your finger. Dip it in the polish (just a little bit) and gently dab on the nail. It helps if the white is almost completely dry(tacky). It will be bumpy but once you finish off the design with a top coat, it will smooth out. =)
you can also use a piece of fabric but beware! Fibers may stick to your nail =/ yuck

OGPinkPoodle says:

Is there any other way to create the mummy. I don’t have a sponge.

theball3rina says:

Thats totally awesome! I wish I had white nail polish… 😛

dying4chocolate says:

It just a plain gold polish that I found at a beauty supply store. Never heard of the brand. It’s called New York Summer-Hot Metallic Gold (#14). Really any gold polish will do. Even a glittery gold =)

maggymay93 says:

what type of gold polish are you using?

MaelynnMei says:

easy and cute! my little sister would love these on her nails!
